Overview of the Design
The collaboration between HUGCUSTOM and the iconic design of the Air Jordan 1 Low Travis Scott x Fragment has led to a groundbreaking creation a Porsche 911 Carrera S wrapped in a design inspired by the sneaker. This project merges high-performance automotive engineering with bold streetwear aesthetics, creating a masterpiece that reflects innovation and style.

When the World of Speed Collides with Legendary Streetwear

The fusion of high-performance driving and streetwear culture has been seamlessly brought together in a special edition of the Porsche 911 Carrera S, inspired by the collaboration of the Air Jordan 1 Low Travis Scott x Fragment. This transformation turns the car into a moving work of art, full of uniqueness and sophistication

This Custom Limited Edition project was inspired by the Nike Air Jordan 1 Low Travis Scott x Fragment, an iconic streetwear sneaker that is part of one of Nike’s most popular lines. The design features striking blue and black tones, perfectly blending street fashion with automotive excellence. Key elements such as the Nike Swoosh, Cactus Jack, and Fragment Design are integrated, reflecting the passion and admiration customers have for the Nike Jordan brand and the influence of Michael Jordan, "The God of Basketball"

By merging these two worlds with the Porsche 911 Carrera S, a supercar that has stood the test of time for over 60 years, the project enhances the car's value and appeal. Porsche’s distinctive curves and intricate details presented a significant challenge to the team, but through their dedication and belief in what was possible, this extraordinary creation came to life in perfect harmony.

Conceptual Blueprint

The first image showcases the conceptual blueprint of the Porsche 911 Carrera S. The design pays homage to the sneaker's signature elements, including the Cactus Jack logo, Nike Swoosh, and Fragment Design icon. This detailed sketch brings the concept to life, showing the precise application of logos and color palettes directly inspired by the sneaker.

The Ultimate Challenge We Perfectly Accomplished

Before applying the final sticker installation, we conducted 2 to 3 rounds of testing to ensure a 100% smooth and flawless finish. However, the unexpected occurred when the actual installation didn't achieve absolute perfection. We would never let an incomplete project reach our customers, even if it means dismantling everything and starting over from scratch.

This time, the challenge lay in achieving color accuracy. While the color matching was approximately 90%, we were determined to reach the full 100%. Additionally, every design seam needed to connect seamlessly, creating a unified and cohesive look. Dismantling and restarting required us to thoroughly clean the vehicle again, including removing any adhesive residue or primer left along the edges.

Another critical aspect requiring meticulous attention, as mentioned earlier, is the alignment of lines and seams. Given that the sticker is a large single piece, maintaining continuity in the design lines across the entire length is essential. The soft nature of the material poses an additional challenge, as exposure to heat can cause the lines to become unstable.

When it comes to the Porsche 911, its rounded and curvaceous rear presented unique challenges in graphic design. Achieving perfection required four iterations to refine the graphics. Furthermore, the sticker installation demanded collaboration and expertise from multiple skilled technicians to ensure flawless application.

At HUGCUSTOM, we never compromise on perfection, ensuring that every project delivered meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and excellence.

Why Choose the Nike Air Jordan 1 Low Travis Scott x Fragment Concept?

We believe the Porsche 911 is a dream car for many, including Bordin Sereeyothin, the owner of the Porsche 911 featured in this masterpiece project.

Bordin shared with us that this particular Porsche 911 model had been his dream car since childhood so much so that he even named his son after it. The reason for his admiration lies in the car’s unique blend of supercar performance and timeless classic design, which has remained relatively unchanged over the years.

After purchasing the Porsche 911, he initially wrapped it entirely in red. However, his personal passion for Air Jordan sneakers inspired a new direction. A dedicated collector, Bordin explained that during his time studying in the United States, he viewed Jordan as an icon of all sports and a figure synonymous with the "God of Basketball." Michael Jordan’s remarkable success as an athlete and his enduring legacy became a significant source of inspiration for Bordin, shaping his life and influencing his choice to merge these two iconic elements into one stunning creation.
